A PLACE WHERE TEENS ACTUALLY WANT TO HANG OUT

FUMC's Youth Ministry offers a warm, welcoming place for our teens to come and connect with other teens as they discover God’s love and learn to honor God with all they have. 

 

WHAT WE DO

​

We meet on Sunday mornings at 9:45 a.m. for Sunday school and Wednesday evenings from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. for fellowship, play, socialization, music, a light meal, and Bible study. 

​

Most of our youth activities are based in our spacious youth wing on the third floor. Our teens have worked hard to make this a multi-use, comfortable space a place where youth can eat, study, relax, learn, and even listen to live music (yes, we have an awesome sound stage!).

​

Youth Director Mak Knowlden and our fabulous parents and volunteers keep our FUMC teens active and on-the-go throughout the year, attending Christian concerts, participating in youth retreats and outdoor activities, traveling to faith-based attractions, and just having fun together.

OUR MINISTRY

However, spiritual development is the most important aspect of our ministry. The curriculums we use and create are designed to be engaging so that teens are encouraged to stick around and grow in their faith.

We're involved in a variety of service and mission activities, both local and abroad.
